For many years, recruitment began and ended with merely filling a position. Firms like ours searched for candidates through a method referred to as “pay and pray,” that was more gambling than science and strategy.

With older hiring models, clients would approach agencies and rely on their expertise and network connections to track down a potential employee. Recruiters were forced to use guesswork to track down the right candidate, relying on methods like newspaper ads or temp agencies.

Traditional recruitment methodologies are set up wrong. With the unemployment rate quickly approaching sub 4%, we expect it to become increasingly more difficult to attract and retain top talent.

And while traditional search is still a valuable tool for many agencies, we pride ourselves on pushing limits by driving industry-changing solutions.

Our Start

On September 10, 2001, our founders Mike and Suzy Carfley fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning a business together. They realized this dream through the purchase of a small, niche traditional search firm, initially founded in 1978 that had entrenched itself in the IT and Telecommunications industry.

In 2006, we officially rebranded as Personify. With our dedication to providing world-class, customizable talent management services backed by industry expertise and data-driven analytics, we successfully transitioned from a local staffing firm to one of the best-performing recruiting agencies in the nation.

As we’ve evolved under the direction of our CEO Ryan Carfley, our Talent Relationship Management solution has created a science around generating a response to attract and convert potential candidates into future employees. We’ve made it a point to provide complete market coverage of active and passive candidates. Our systematic approach to screening also focuses on skills and cultural fit to quickly and efficiently find individuals that have long-term potential.

How We Do It

Gone are the days of wishing and hoping when it comes to finding the perfect candidate. As we’ve evolved, we’ve streamlined our Talent Relationship Management solution into four components:

The targeted name generation and pipelining components of our Talent Relationship Management solution involve intelligent, proactive sourcing, rather than inefficient, reactive screening, to create deep candidate pools that can be tapped into quickly.

By building these pipelines at the onset of a project, we can strategically interact with these potential candidates, instead of waiting for a bite on the aforementioned hyperbolic fishing rod.

The talent communities piece of Personify’s Talent Relationship Management solution takes a content marketing approach to communicating with candidates to cultivate long-term relationships.

Messaging

It begins by identifying online environments where candidates with the desired skill sets spend their time, advertising to those audiences, and inviting them to join your branded talent community.

These individuals, along with those identified in the targeted name generation step, will have the opportunity to receive custom, curated content through consistent messaging to build your brand in the market.

Through the social listening and candidate persona mapping, we will identify the particular audience’s motivations, interests, goals, and behaviors and create custom, curated content to message the community consistently and keep them engaged with your company brand.

Our Talent Relationship Management solution, paired with our Talent Acquisition Model, ensures there is always a ready now bench of qualified candidates that are delivered on-demand.
